Sólás H20 was born out of Buck Creek Distributing’s entrepreneurial passion and desire to be the solution provider for a plastic free world. Sólás H2O is an Irish Celtic name meaning Happiness, Comfort, and Joy. Like its name, our vision is to create a mission driven product that nourishes our bodies, helps our planet and gives back to our communities.

WHY?
Because a million plastic bottles are purchased across the world every minute and 90% of those plastic bottles used aren’t even recycled, they end up in landfills across our planet, sitting there and taking around 1,000 years to biodegrade. Plastic bottles that don’t end up in landfills end up polluting our oceans, killing our environment, injuring and killing marine animals.

PARTNERING FOR GOOD
Our team was inspired by the children and families at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Every football season, we attend Iowa Hawkeye games at Kinnick Stadium and participate in the “Wave”, a tradition where 70,000 fans wave to the kiddos recovering in the hospital.
Partnering with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Iowa is a small way we’re able to give back to the children, by donating 5% of gross profits from the purchase of each can.
Make-A-Wish has the unique ability to transform the life of a child.

I asked my son and my daughter, “Why don’t you drink enough water?” “It tastes bad from the tap,” they said with a snap. “And plastic bottles are bad for the otters!” So we created this can, and plastics we banned.
